The situation in Haiti keeps getting worse, but thanks to your support, we’re not losing hope. While we continue our efforts to create a kindergarten in the north of the country — where many families have taken refuge — we have also reopened the doors of our beautiful primary school in Croix-des-Bouquets for the handful of children and families who have managed to return home. Today, a dozen children and a few teachers are bringing the school back to life. We hope this number will grow in the coming months. Every day, we’re doing everything we can to ensure that, despite extremely difficult living conditions, these children can learn, dream, and grow in a safe and caring environment.
Your generosity and the involvement of our volunteers enabled us to raise just over $15,000 this year! We used 100% of the donations received to resume pedagogical activities at our school in Croix-des-bouquets, and to continue acquiring the kindergarten building in the city of Cap Haitien. One of you has also generously sponsored one of our most gifted students, allowing her to continue her secondary studies.
Thank you again for your precious support!
